My name is Kirsty, and I am a Perth-based lover of food. I love food that is fresh, colourful, tasty, and good for my body, and I prefer it when someone else cooks it for me (and does the dishes). WHAT!? Doesn’t everyone??

Unfortunately, I don’t live in that magical world all the time, (if anyone does – please tell me how!?) so instead I look for recipes that meet the following criteria:

  1. Easy to make for an amateur DIYer (who has failed many Pinterest DIY projects)
  2. Doesn’t require me to take a day off work to make
  3. Won’t chew up my weekly grocery budget on crazy expensive ingredients that will end up hiding in my pantry/fridge for longer than they are welcome
  4. Will be edible for my husband – a servo-bought sausage roll and ice coffee at 6-am kind of guy
  5. Still meets the fresh, colourful, tasty and good for my body criteria.

I am also a university-qualified nutritionist (B.Sc Nutr – Curtin University) and a qualified personal trainer, so all of my recipes are “nutritionist approved”.
